At a Job Fair in Waukesha, Wisconsin in the fall of 1997, Recruiters were working hard trying to find qualified people to fill the many job openings at their respective Companies.
Recruiter Jody Massopust, Super America, was asked by Dick Coonan, Pinkerton Security, if she would be willing to exchange information on the location and dates of future Job Fairs, and the places to recruit qualified workers.
The Brilliant answer by Miss Jody was, “Why don’t we get a group together forming a Recruiter Network.” So Dick approached other Recruiters at the Job Fair. Their response was, “That’s a great Idea.” “When is the first meeting?”
We quickly held our first meeting, and by January 1998 we had 18 in attendance. Over the years we have had well attended monthly meetings with excellent Speakers covering many Subjects. Our Members exchange information that helps us to become more effective at our jobs.

TESTIMONIALS
"As a testimonial on how this group helps each other, I’ve been able to both give and receive.
First, I did receive an ad from Milwaukee Center for Independence when I told them about the special Healthcare focus we had. They advertised their Speech Language Pathologist with us.
I’m continuing to work with their HR person.
Second, I have been able to help a number of recruiters who are looking for jobs for people.
Since I bring the Employment Times to the meetings, a number of people have mentioned to me that they are using that to help with job placement.
Third, On an ongoing basis, I have been able to assist some of the companies with leads for their job seekers, namely, Goodwill and Merit House. I have added them to our delivery route and they are now receiving 15 copies of Employment Times on a weekly basis.
Fourth, I have sent resumes of a few excellent people that I know to distribute to the membership of recruiters in case they need someone with their qualifications.
Fifth, I have been able to use the email of Recruiter’s Network to inform the recruiters of any specials we have that might fit in with what their current needs are. Example: Healthcare, Skilled Trades or discounts.
Lastly, since I belong to 8 business associations, I have been able to provide business information and updates on the employment market to the Recruiter’s Network members. Vice-versa the Recruiter’s Network has been an excellent source for me to find out the condition of the market and who or what areas might be hiring and needing my services.
I have been very pleased to be a part of Recruiter’s Network for all of the above reasons and to network with such an excellent and friendly group of employment professionals.
Thank you,"
